PLIN-USB 1 channel LIN to USB interface
Function Overview:
- PLIN-USB is a LIN-to-USB interface card that connects a LIN network to a computer via USB. Supports the latest ISO 17987 standard and all LIN versions up to LIN 2.2; can be used to emulate a LIN master or slave node.
- Comes with free Windows software PLIN-View Pro, which can be used to send, receive and record LIN messages.
- There is also a free secondary development kit, PLIN-API, which can be used to develop your own applications.
- Provides isolation of up to 500V.
- Provide free CAN monitoring software PCAN-View
- Free programmatic interface PCAN-Basic API supporting C++, C#, VB, C++/CLR, Delphi, NET, Java, and Python 3.x
- Supports multiple operating system drivers: Windows 11, 10, 8.1
- Support multiple third-party software: VISU, INSITE, LabView, CodeSys, Matlab, BUSMASTER, EasyMotion Studio, CANmoon, XX-SCAN, PCAN-Explore.

Free Software Programming Interface PLIN- API
LIN is a master-slave serial communication protocol, and PLIN-API is a program interface for Windows applications to access the LIN bus.
This API provides routines for a variety of programming languages, including C++, C#, C++/CLR, C++/MFC,Delphi, VB.net, and Python 3.x. The API is also available in the following languages: C++, C#, C++/CLR, C++/MFC, Delphi, VB.net, and Python 3.x.
Features
- Windows DLLs for developing LIN applications (32-bit and 64-bit)
- Multiple applications can work simultaneously in one physical channel.
- Very simple switching between hardware channels on PLIN computers.
- Packet internal caching based on software level (system services)
- Receive messages with 1µs timestamp accuracy
- Allows saving of customized data on hardware (up to 24 bytes)
- Notify the application via Windows events when a message is received and a device is inserted or unplugged
- There are four languages for the description of the function to get the error code.
