ProfiShark helps network engineers to easily access the network and capture each individual packet with the correct timestamp. This results in high-quality data that can be used for network analysis in packet analyzer software such as Wireshark, or saved directly to disk for later analysis.

Get transparent and non-intrusive access
Capture network data without compromising security or performance. The PROFISHARK and host PC will not appear as nodes on the network. The network connection will be maintained even if the power of PROFISHARK is interrupted. PROFISHARK is configured to operate over POE.
Get the desired timestamp accuracy
Accurate timestamps are essential for analyzing performance metrics such as TCP, TCP stream throughput, latency and jitter. PROFISHARK offers models with hardware timestamps as low as 5NS and + models with advanced GPS/PPS timestamping capabilities.
Direct setup and management
Place PROFISHARK in the line of packets to be analyzed and use the PROFISHARK MANAGER GUI to control hardware and packet capture settings.
Capture high fidelity network traffic
Captures all bytes from layer 1 to layer 7 with high quality timestamps regardless of packet rate.
Offers a wide range of traffic volume options
Capture directly to disk without external software, use WIRESHARK or other packet analyzers for real-time capture, or on a NAS for long-term traffic capture.
Extensive operating system support
PROFISHARK is supported by all major operating system options on the market today: LINUX, WINDOWS and MACOS.
Online deployment or out-of-band deployment
All PROFISHARK models can be configured in tandem mode or out-of-band to monitor traffic from SPAN/mirror ports or external TAPs.
Compatible with many protocol analyzers
PROFISHARK is typically used in conjunction with WIRESHARK for protocol analysis, but can be used in conjunction with most flow analyzers.
Physical isolation
The monitored network is physically isolated (diode) from the management interface to avoid any risk of attack via device injection or MITM.
Flexible power options
PROFISHARK can be powered via USB 3-port or 5V DC input.
