Arbitrary Waveform Generator TS-AWG2000 Series
TS-AWG2000 Series
The TS-AWG2000 series is a cost-effective and powerful 2- or 4-channel Arbitrary Function Generator (AFG) and 2- or 4-channel Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) with advanced sequencer functionality. 180 MHz bandwidth, up to 12 Vpp output range, and up to 512 MSample memory depth; the TS-AWG2000 is the ideal arbitrary waveform generator choice for automotive, IoT, and medical applications. The TS-AWG2000 is the ideal arbitrary waveform generator for automotive, IoT and medical applications.
2, 4-channel arbitrary waveform generator
The 8-channel digital option combined with 2 or 4 analog channels makes the TS-AWG2000 a full-featured mixed signal generator. It is possible to produce 8-channel digital signals (LVTTL or LVDS standard) that are fully synchronized with 2/4 analog signals.
- 600 MS/s (1.2GS/s X2 interpolation), 16-bit vertical resolution
- Minimum edge time as low as 2.2 ns
- Maximum dynamic range up to 12 Vpp at 50 ohms (24 V when open)
- Up to 512 Mpts per channel
- Up to 8 digital channels synchronized with analog channels
- Software user interface: Simple Rider for AFG mode and Simple True Arb for AWG mode.
Intuitive software user interface
Simple Rider AFG and Simple True ARB
- Touch screen display and soft keyboard
- Easily Create Waveforms and Pulses with Simple Rider UI
The Simple Rider UI is designed as a quick touch driver that simplifies the operation of the generator by optimizing the capacitive touch screen display technology used on today's tablets or smartphones. Thanks to the intuitive and simple waveform generator user interface, the most complex waveform scenes can be created with just a few screen touches. arb Rider supports a standard Ethernet interface for remote control and easy customization of instrument programming.

wide range of applications
3-in-1 Instrument
The TS-AWG2000 series instruments are multifunction signal generators that combine three functions in one instrument, including a function generator, an arbitrary waveform generator, and a digital code generator. These three different functions extend the capabilities of the hardware using two different technologies: improved DDS in AFG mode and variable clock in AWG mode. the AFG mode allows the user to dynamically change all parameters without interference, preserve waveform shape and create/generate waveforms instantly. the AWG mode allows the user to create simulated and digital modes of overlaying waveform scenes, inserting them into sequences, applying loops, jumps and conditional branching. the AWG2000 series is a multi-function signal generator that combines three functions in one instrument: function generator and digital code generator, jumps and conditional branches.

Power MOSFET Circuit Optimization and Characterization in Automotive Electronics
Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 and RF Modulators
Arb and Function Riders will be the standard tools for this application, simulating complex RFI/Q modulations for simulating and testing wireless devices or working on the Internet of Things for Industry 4.0 applications. Every engineer can use the imported waveforms to simulate the device under test, and apply distortion (e.g. noise) to the waveforms to test the device's ability to comply with standards.
Main characteristics
Sensor Signal Generation: Simulate ideal signals or generate real-world signals after acquisition with a high-definition oscilloscope.
Integrated attenuator for generating low amplitude signals
MOSFET Gate Drive Amplitude Signal Simulation for MOSFET Characterization and Optimization
Serial power-up of ICs using low impedance characteristics (0 Ω output impedance)
Low Noise Signal Generation: ECG Signal Simulation
The TS-AWG2000 series instruments are equipped with an internal 10x attenuator that allows the user to generate very low amplitude signals without sacrificing DAC resolution. The real-world centerpiece signals have very low amplitudes - often a few millivolts or less - and the TS-AWG2000 series overcomes this challenge by having a built-in 10x attenuator and using analog outputs that provide extremely high signal fidelity.

Semiconductor Testing and Research
The TS-AWG2000 series of AFG user interfaces includes the dual pulse function required to test the dynamic behavior of power devices such as MOSFETs and IGBTs. Each of the two pulses can have different amplitudes, rise times, fall times and widths. Researchers and scientists need to simulate pulses with added amplitude and timing variation defects in an accurate, detailed, and repeatable controlled manner: with up to 512 M points of waveform memory per channel, you can easily obtain real-world signals from your oscilloscope using the TS-AWG2000 Arbitrary Waveform Generator.
