PCAN-LIN: CAN, LIN Gateway
Cost-effective CAN, LIN gateway, can realize the conversion between CAN, LIN, 232 three, after downloading the configuration can run independently, which means that PCAN-LIN can be directly connected to your device, to achieve the conversion between CAN and LIN.
- The PCAN-LIN module facilitates communication between CAN, LIN, and serial interfaces.
- Encased in a lightweight plastic housing, it contains firmware to enable data exchange between different bus systems.
- Various modes can be configured using software, such as using the module as an LIN master station to request and route LIN data to the CAN bus and/or serial interface. With an ID offset, data can be exchanged between CAN and LIN.

Technical Specifications
- The universal gateway (or router when using Acceptance Code / Acceptance Mask functions) includes the following:
- RS-232 to LIN (and vice versa).
- CAN to LIN (and vice versa).
- RS-232 to CAN (limited bandwidth).
- CAN communication supports a baud rate of up to 1 Mbit/s.
- LIN communication operates at baud rates from 1 to 20 kbit/s.
- Sending/receiving LIN 1.x and 2.x frames.
- It can function as either the primary controller or secondary device in a LIN network
- Simulating LIN secondary device behavior with data modification via CAN frames.
- Handling a user-defined LIN ID list with limited entry, and cyclic processing.
- Standard baud rates are set at 19200 bit/s for LIN and 500 kbit/s for CAN.
- Individual LIN frames can be initialized via CAN or RS-232.
- Power supply voltage: 9 - 30V.
- Operating temperature ranges from -40°C to 85°C.
