Oil bath for full immersion calibration
Whether you have out-of-shape sensors or non-standard length probes, our oil baths can handle and calibrate just about anything.
LiquiCal - Temperature Calibration Tanks
LiquiCal is a range of high performance temperature calibration baths for precision calibration. The baths can be controlled via a PC, allowing automatic calibration and ramp control, or run as stand-alone units.LiquiCal offers extremely high accuracy, large immersion depths, high stability, fast temperature changes and quiet operation.
Models cover a temperature range of -80 to +300°C and all have the same external dimensions, tank opening and liquid fill volume, except for the Micro Tank (LiquiCal SM/HM), which is much smaller for ease of mobility.

Fully automated solutions
The temperature calibration tank can be integrated with Ellab Temperature Standards (ETS) and ValSuite® Pro calibration and verification software for fully automated calibration and control. The software controls ramping, stabilization times, and automatically calibrates Ellab data logging equipment.
A convenient overflow reservoir collects any excess fluid that may overflow due to fluid expansion. The tank's 15.9-liter (4.2-gallon) reservoir can be easily emptied via a drain when needed.
Ellab Temperature Standard
The trackable ETS provides extremely accurate temperature calibrations. The ETS is available in 3 different versions and comes with calibration certificates traceable to the NPL.The ValSuite Pro software with the ETS and LiquiCal tanks provides automatic setup to simplify the calibration process and save time.

Liquid Oil Tank
For optimal temperature stability and uniformity in the calibration zone, it is best to use fluids with the lowest possible viscosity (< 25 CST) Ellab supplies a range of fluids in 3.8 liter (1 gallon) containers to safely cover the temperature range of -90 to +300 °C.
- Ellab Halohydrocarbon Oil Low: -90 to +90 °C
 - Ellab cryogenic fluids: -80 to +5 °C
 - Ellab Standard Oil: -30 to 160 °C
 - Ellab High Temperature Oil: +80 to +300 °C

One tank/one oil concept
Using Ellab standard oils and LiquiCal SL calibration baths over a temperature range of -30 to +150 °C covers most equipment used to validate a wide range of applications including:
- Sterilization using autoclave and distillers
 - Pasteurization using plate heat exchangers
 - Tests using an environmental chamber
 - Use refrigerator to freeze
 - Frozen Storage

Calibration Software
ValSuite Pro Software
ValSuite Pro software allows semi-automatic or fully automatic pre- and post-calibration of cable probes or wireless loggers. By using intuitive menus, all necessary calibration data is processed and offset values are generated and stored in the software.
For TrackSense Pro wireless recorders and E-Val Pro thermocouple sensors, a regular firmware calibration process is recommended and user alarms can be programmed into memory for intelligent processing.
Calibration Settings
The Ellab calibration software uses a point-to-point methodology that allows multiple points to be processed using interpolation. When semi-automatic calibration is selected, only the ETS needs to be connected; in fully automatic calibration, both the ETS and the tank need to be running. The following performance criteria can be set:
- Maximum allowable calibration tank fluctuation range and timing
 - Holding Time
 - Maximum Allowable Temperature Standard Fluctuation
 - Maximum Sensor Temperature Deviation and Passing Time
 - All setup conditions, acceptance criteria, actual values and deviations are shown in the calibration report.
