Making Ethernet the ideal logging network

  • The Capture Module 100 High is an active splitter device used to capture 100Base-T1 traffic for up to six point-to-point 100BASE-T1 connections (12 ports total). Traffic is captured without network interference and delivered with a 40 ns resolution hardware timestamp, enabling AVB/TSN traffic analysis. By including a traffic shaping feature, the recorded output of many bus channels is transmitted to the datalogger or test PC in a stabilized manner, eliminating bursts that can cause data loss.
  • Our Capture Module provides the output of all logged data in a standard Ethernet frame via the Technology Enhanced Capture Module Protocol (TECMP), which allows tracing of traffic sources, source timestamps, packet counters, etc., making Ethernet the ideal logging network. In addition, the Capture Module 100 High supports the PLP protocol. The device sends messages with 40ns resolution timestamps, providing fast and efficient solutions, including extended power modes for automotive integration. Messages are sent over 100BASE-T1 (or standard Ethernet) in the PDU of the Ethernet MAC II frame.

Multiple devices can be used in the same setup

  • Multiple devices can be used in the same setup as more 100BASE-T1 ports must be captured, or if you want to record other bus interfaces. Built-in synchronization using 802.1AS allows the capture module 100 High to be used with other devices at the same time, thus enabling cascading with other capture modules.
  • The Capture Module 100 High's built-in network server makes it easy to configure the device. In addition, the device includes a rotary switch for manually configuring its IP address.

Record all important messages from the vehicle system

  • Our Capture Module 100 High includes a start-up buffer and a high-speed start-up function (<200ms) so that the initial start-up information is not lost. As a result, the device is able to record all important messages from the vehicle system directly from start-up, so that no messages are lost in the recorded trajectory.

CM 100 HIGH captures your 100 BASE-T1 traffic without disrupting the original network. Adds a state-of-the-art timestamp to data sent over the line.
