Cross Channel Chip

I. Universal introduction

Cross-channel wafers include a variety of cross-channel wafers with T-shaped or double-T-shaped structures. Different sizes are possible, from the microscope slide format of 25.5 mm × 75.5 mm to extended platform sizes of 95.5 mm × 16 mm × 1.5 mm or 141 mm × 16 mm × 1.5 mm. The maximum standard channel length available is 120 mm. The maximum standard channel length available is 120 mm, which can be filled as a fluidic interface using a simple through-hole connector and a pipette or female Luer adapter. One of the most common applications for this wafer class is capillary electrophoresis.

Expanded Size Platform I Wafer

Extended Size Platform I Wafer with Electrodes

This cross channel chip contains electrodes for detecting charged molecules. The electrode material is 10 nm titanium and 100-150 nm gold. The chip consists of two modes: contact and non-contact. Contact means that the electrodes are placed on the lid and assembled towards the channel, resulting in direct contact between the electrode material and the liquid to be analyzed. Non-contact means that the electrodes are placed on the lid and assembled facing the atmosphere, resulting in no contact between the electrodes and the liquid to be analyzed.

These wafers provide two independent channel structures with cross channels on each device. One with and one without channel offset. This series of microfluidic wafers has a Mini Luer interface.
