In ADAS/AD environments, measurement data converters are always used when you want to separate raw data from sensors such as cameras, radar or lidar. With MDILink, you get aSerDes Measurement Data ConverterIt allows for a smooth transition from the development phase and validation of results to volume production.
The measurement data interface provides conversion to 10Gbit Ethernet and transparent decoupling of the raw data stream in TAP mode (Bypass mode).
In addition to sensor control, I²C reverse-channel communication can bePrecise time synchronization for cameras with trigger function. As a result, perfect environmental images are created with precise timing records.
