ZbC2+

ZbC2+

The ZbC2+ is a certified intrinsically safe interface isolator. It is used to connect certified intrinsically safe equipment in potentially explosive environments (hazardous areas) with non-certified equipment in safe areas.

The Zener isolator prevents the transfer of unacceptably high energy from the safe area to the hazardous area. The ZbC2+ Zener isolator consists of two identical diode loop isolators in a common housing designed for DIN rail mounting in the safe area.
