Light Source Accessories
The fiber optic cable assembly for the EQ (LDLS light source) must be used with the EQ-99X-FC LDLS.
There are two types of fiber available:UV-Vis (UV) cap (a poem)Wide Belt (BB)The
UV and BB fibers are available in the transmission range of 190 nm - 2500 nm. UV fibers are made from silicon dioxide with a high concentration of hydroxyl (OH) and are carefully designed to withstand ultraviolet light.
UV fibers are well suited for applications benefiting from the 190 nm - 350 nm enhancement, while BB fibers are more suitable for applications benefiting from the 350 nm - 2500 nm enhancement.
