Configurable CAN FD analog I/O module
Function Overview:
- The PCAN-MicroMod FD series modules are data acquisition modules that support CAN FD.
- The PCAN-MicroMod FD plug-in cards can be purchased alongside plug-and-play motherboards, which provide various peripherals to meet specific requirements. For CAN connectivity, I/O, and power supply, spring terminal connectors are available.
- PCAN-MicroMod FD Digital versions 1 and 2 focus on digital input and output, each equipped with the corresponding protective circuitry. Digital 1 features low-side switching, while Digital 2 features high-side switching.

Main Features
The PCAN-MicroMod FD can be configured with the accompanying Windows software.
It supports easy I/O mapping to CAN IDs and provides function blocks for data handling.
The configuration is sent to the PCAN-MicroMod FD via CAN bus.
Multiple modules can be configured independently on the CAN bus.
Configuration of the device requires the use of PEAK's CAN card, which can be a USB, PCIe or miniPCIe interface

- Configuration using Windows software PCAN-MicroMod FD Configuration.
- 4 rotary coding switches for setting module IDs.
Digital Versions 1 and 2 Parameters:
- 8-channel digital inputs
- Configurable for pull-up or pull-down.
- 8-channel digital outputs.
- Digital 1: Low-side switching.
- Digital 2: High-side switching.
- PWM mode: 16-bit duty cycle resolution, adjustable frequency range from 0 to 20 kHz.
- 3-channel analog inputs.
- 12-bit resolution.
- Measurement range from 0 to 10 V.
- Adjustable voltage range: 0 – 5 V or 0 – 10 V.
