Multiple Gigabit Ethernet ports with MACSEC support
Filtering and control of data streams is easily accomplished,
- The Enhanced Ethernet Switch (EES) RJ-45 is a standard Ethernet switch with powerful AVB/TSN functionality that provides users with eight Gigabit standard Ethernet ports and two SFP+ connectors, allowing two 1Gb/10Gb lines for data uplink.
- EES with different variants is a successor to the media gateway.
- EES enables filtering and control of data flows by creating virtual point-to-point connections using single-tagged VLANs (802.1q) and double-tagged VLANs (802.1q-in-q). Each port provides 8 levels of Quality of Service (QoS) leveling and advanced traffic filtering with ingress and egress rules to ensure prioritization, resource reservation and control mechanisms for incoming data.
Strong customization possibilities
- Enhanced Ethernet switches provide a reliable stack of gPTP/802.1AS automotive profiles for time synchronization, allowing for powerful customization possibilities to fit any customer use case. Our products also feature Audio Video Bridging (AVB), which can be statically configured with stream reservation and shaping (802.1Qav).
- The Enhanced Ethernet Switch is also ready for additional TSN feature support: 802.1Qav, Qci, Qbv, and Qbu. Customer-specific use cases can be supported if desired. Contact the Avision sales team for more information and personalized setup advice.
Provides an internal configuration site to configure devices for use cases
- Through an internal configuration site, users can easily configure devices for their use cases, abstracting away the complexity of the underlying switch hardware. This includes VLANs, port mirroring, forwarding or filtering, deep inspection via TCAM rules, port segmentation, and many other features offered by Layer 2 switches.
The EES RJ-45 is a 1000BASE-T1 Car Ethernet Switch with AVB/TSN support. It allows users to connect up to 8 Gigabit Car Ethernet ports and 2 ports up to 1GB/10GB via SFP+ connectors. Can be used to implement VLAN, port mirroring, route forwarding or filtering, etc.
