Chip in through road

I. Universal introduction

Straight channel wafers are commonly used for simple experiments with flow cells. Liquid flows through the channel and is analyzed by laser, probe, microscope etc. Wafer sizes are available in microscope slide format and microtitre plate format, and can be made from a variety of polymer materials and include a variety of interfaces such as through-hole, Mini Luer, Luer, and Olive.

Product Type

Load Slide Format

Microfluidic channels of various widths and depths can be used on the microscope carrier slide (75.5 mm x 25.5 mm x 1.5 mm) format. The distance between the centers of the channels is 4.5 mm in reference to the spacing of the 384 microtitre plates. wafers are available with different interfaces, and the channels can be oriented horizontally or vertically on the wafer.

Titration plate format

The SBS titration plate format (85.48 mm x 127.76 mm) is the global standard for almost all equipment used in laboratories. The microfluidic titration plates have laboratory-standard fluidic channel pore spacing and are compatible with corresponding readers, allowing for a variety of different assays such as cell-based assays, hybridization assays or small volume chemical synthesis. The channels can be easily filled with liquid through the through-hole interface. The titration plate wafers are made of various polymer materials such as PC, PS, PMMA or COP (Zeonor). Surfaces can be functionalized in the channels, e.g. for DNA probe spotting, poly-L-hemolysin or collagen coating.
