The chip features two independent channels, each connected to a large reservoir for liquid waste management. Each channel has four Mini Luer interfaces that not only apply samples, but also flow different reagent solutions through the channels and chambers using connected pumps. A large waste reservoir facilitates the uptake of approximately 500 μl of liquid each, allowing assays to be run without additional waste management. The waterproof but breathable membrane ensures that no contamination occurs through the waste cell.
