Higher cell survival rate
The programmable cryostat provides a gradient of "slow-controlled" cooling conditions during the dormant period of cell freezing. Compared with the liquid nitrogen-based programmable cryostat, the survival rate of cells frozen and thawed by the CRFT liquid nitrogen-free programmable cryostat is higher, and the accuracy, precision and reproducibility of cryopreservation can be guaranteed. Adopting Stirling engine technology without liquid nitrogen and refrigerant, the CRFT provides accurate and reproducible biological cryopreservation, which is suitable for cryopreservation of embryos, stem cells, mammalian cells, sperms, tissue sections and mandibulate organs.
The equipment allows for cryopreservation of embryos, stem cells, mammalian cells, sperm, antisomes, tissue sections and mandibulate organs, etc. It not only allows for precise control of cryopreservation and defrosting rates, especially at the critical nucleation/seeding stage, but also minimizes the risk of contamination.

No liquid nitrogen contamination
Volatile liquid nitrogen gases from samples cooled by conventional liquid nitrogen programmable coolers may contain contaminants such as bacteria, fungal spores, viruses and prions.
The risk of contamination is minimized by not using liquid nitrogen.
Temperature profile is easy to operate
This can be done with or without a computer.
Data can be recorded via PC software and the profile will be displayed directly on the screen. Linear or non-linear cooling curves can be selected from a drop-down menu, and customized temperature curves can be programmed via software.
Built-in programs for greater convenience
Built-in freezing program for embryos, stem cells and sperms, no need to set up by yourself to avoid wasting time and samples.
Low operating costs
Approx. 1% for liquid nitrogen control system, operated with 24V power supply.
