Bowie Dick Sensor

This highly compact Bowie Dick sensor is the only electronic test device on the market designed for processes up to 121 °C and, if necessary, up to 134 °C. The sensor provides greater insight into critical sterilization parameters than ever before, making it a critical tool for any vapor infiltration study.

 

Unlike traditional chemical indicators, which you can judge subjectively based on color changes, this device provides you with accurate reports and eliminates any guess work.

 

The device is so easy to use that little training is required. With a single click in the software, the device begins to measure and record data, and once the Bowie Dick test program is complete, simply return the device to the reader station and the software will automatically process the data and provide the test results - simple and easy!

Applications

Steam sterilization

High-pressure sterilizers for the pharmaceutical and medical industries must meet established standards and specifications (EN 285 and ISO 17665) to ensure that their processes continue to provide safe and sterile results.

For this reason, autoclaves need to be identified and verified periodically to prove that they can sterilize within the qualified parameters.

Sterilizer
