Server Room Temperature and Humidity Monitoring Solution

Today, data has become the most valuable asset of most companies. Temporary disruption of critical applications or even loss of data can cause significant damage to a company and even lead to financial crisis. In addition to power outages, a major cause of damage is increased air temperature or humidity in the server room. This is a significant risk and a sign that a server room containing multiple server racks is in trouble.
A server room or data center environmental monitoring system provides protection against these problems. Server room temperature sensors collect and archive temperature data from key measurement points within the server room network. If a temperature deviation occurs, the room monitoring software automatically sends out an alert so you can act quickly to identify the problem.
The measurement, evaluation and processing of data must be 100% fault-free. The system must not lose measurements, but rather spread them out among the wireless sensors and buffer them until they reach the central cloud infrastructure for processing.
Why do I need to monitor the humidity in my server room?
Humidity is related to temperature. The warmer the air, the more water molecules can be absorbed into the air. Air conditioners and heat exchangers that extract heat from the air change the relative humidity. Of course, there is always the risk of broken pipes or water damage.
The ideal relative humidity (RH%) for server rooms and data centers should be between 40% and 60%.
Excessively dry environments create static electricity in electronic equipment. Excessively humid air can cause corrosion, and in the long run, both conditions can lead to higher wear and failure.
