The 100BASE-T1 MEDIA CONVERTER BCM is the ideal physical layer converter between Ethernet in the vehicle and the PC system.
The device enables fast, efficient and reliable seamless conversion of signals and data between automotive ECUs using 100BASE-T1 in-vehicle Ethernet and any standard Fast Ethernet device with an RJ-45 connector, thus ensuring proper operation and performance optimization of the automotive system.

Ideal Physical Layer Converter
- The device establishes a direct point-to-point connection between an automotive ECU using 100BASE-T1 and any standard Fast Ethernet device with an RJ-45 connector.
- The device does not modify or store any packets and is one of the first devices to appear on the market with proven high reliability. It uses the Broadcom BCM89810 physical layer.
- The device is an ideal physical layer converter between in-vehicle Ethernet and PC systems.
