Applications
Cookware Cooler
Continuous rotisserie stoves are used to heat, sterilize and subsequently cool a range of canned foods such as fruits, vegetables, ready-to-eat foods, soups, infant formula and dairy products.Temperature distribution and heat penetration tests should be performed in each individual cooker/cooler and in each product and container.
Steam sterilization
Cooking sterilization in the food industry refers to any closed container or other equipment used for heat treatment of food. Typically, sterilization temperatures range from 110 to 135°C.
Temperature verification is required for static and rotary steam/air stills as well as water immersion/cascade/spray stills.
Static water dispenser
Water stills are static steam stills used in the food industry to heat treat items stored in cans, trays, bottles and bags.Typically, products will be sterilized at approximately 121.1°C, but this temperature may fluctuate depending on the tower height and product.Temperature and pressure are key parameters, as the product must then be depressurized.
Key parameters include pressure/vacuum, transmitted RF energy, H2O2 concentration and temperature. Humidity can also be measured.
