Universal, configurable control unit with I/O and CAN FD connectivity
The PCAN-MicroMod FD ECU is a universal control unit designed for the integration of customized components in automotive applications. It offers CAN FD connectivity and a hybrid analog and digital I/O interface. With its robust housing and two automotive-specific connectors, it is designed for commercial and heavy-duty vehicle applications in harsh environments.
- PCAN-MicroMod FD series products can be configured with free Windows® software
- In addition to providing easy mapping of I/O to CAN IDs, there are function blocks for data processing.
- After the configuration is created on the PC, it can be transferred to the PCAN-MicroMod FD via the CAN bus and run as a standalone CAN node.
- PCAN-MicroMod FD ECU has been tested and certified for ECE E1 type approval.

PCAN-MicroMod FD ECU Dedicated Connection Adapter Plate
The PCAN-MicroMod FD ECU mating board supports the use of Phoenix screw terminal connectors to simplify the PCAN-MicroMod FD ECU wiring process for applications such as configuration development and validation.
- Provides conversion from automotive connector (Molex MX150) to screw terminal connector (Phoenix)
- Connects to PCAN-MicroMod FD ECU via color-coded cable set
- 9-pin D-Sub socket for CAN bus connection (CiA® 106 compliant)
- 120 Ω switchable CAN termination resistance
- Digital I/O, power and 5V output status LEDs available
- LEDs can be deactivated by jumpers to reduce additional power consumption
- Jumper for grounding analog inputs to module ground (AGND)
