Media Converter v2 MATEnet
This product is an automotive Ethernet converter that enables full-duplex physical layer conversion between 1000BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) networks, or between 100BASE-T1 and 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet) . The device integrates MACsec security mechanisms, TC10 sleep-and-wake functionality, a CAN(FD) interface, and advanced diagnostic features, designed to provide engineers with a one-stop solution for network connectivity, protocol analysis, node testing, and system integration in laboratories, on production lines, or inside vehicles.

Functional overview
This device enables full-duplex physical layer conversion between 1000BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T (Gigabit Ethernet) networks, or between 100BASE-T1 and 100BASE-TX (Fast Ethernet) networks. The device is equipped with TE MATEnet and RJ-45 interfaces; the communication speed and master/slave modes can be automatically negotiated with the link partner or manually configured by the user.
The TC10 feature supports the transmission and reception of sleep and wake-up commands, while the MACsec feature provides security at the data link layer through configurable RX/TX Security Association Keys (SAKs).
Device parameters can be configured and status information can be read programmatically via the USB (virtual serial port) interface, which can also function as a USB-to-CAN(/FD) interface.
This product is also available in a version equipped with an H-MTD interface.

Through open communication protocols via USB or CAN(/FD), users can conveniently read status information and configure port parameters, enabling the integration of the converter into any system. Users can also programmatically configure the device (e.g., T1 port parameters, TC10, MACsec) and read its status.
This converter connects a 100BASE-T1/1000BASE-T1 ECU or network to a computer or laptop. With its built-in status indicator and DIP switches, it can be used directly without connecting to a PC.
