USB Interface

This product integrates 10BASE-T1S in-vehicle Ethernet, CAN (FD) bus, and USB interfaces, serving as a multifunctional in-vehicle network adaptation and testing tool. Its primary purpose is to conveniently connect a computer (such as a development laptop) to single-pair Ethernet (10BASE-T1S) and CAN (FD) bus networks, enabling monitoring, diagnostics, data transmission and reception, node emulation, and physical layer testing for both types of in-vehicle networks.

Functional overview

The 10BASE-T1S USB interface connects a 10BASE-T1S network to a USB port. When plugged into a computer's USB port, the device functions as a standard network interface card, allowing direct connection of a 10BASE-T1S ECU or a multi-point network to devices such as laptops that do not have a built-in network card.

Its single-pair 10BASE-T1S Ethernet port supports both CSMA/CD and PLCA communication modes and is compatible with point-to-point and multipoint network topologies. Port configurations—including communication mode, beacon (BEACON) transmission (PLCA coordinator), node ID/number of nodes, and bus termination—can all be conveniently set via on-board DIP switches. The device also supports 10BASE-T1S test mode.
