 Function Overview:

  • The PCAN-MicroMod series modules are analog/digital data acquisition modules that support the CAN bus.
  • Various PCAN-MicroMod motherboards are available for use in equipment, industrial engineering, and the automotive industry. Optional evaluation boards simplify extending custom board functionality and development.
  • The PCAN-MicroMod can be configured using compatible Windows software. In addition to easy I/O mapping to CAN IDs, there are function blocks for data processing. Configurations created on a computer are sent via the CAN bus to the PCAN-MicroMod, which then operates as an independent CAN node. Multiple modules can be independently configured on the CAN bus. Configuring the device requires a PEAK CAN card, available with USB, PCIe, and miniPCIe interfaces.
