PCAN-Diag FD J1939 Extension Plug-in is a PCAN extension plug-in designed for commercial vehicle diagnostics that automatically parses CAN data for SAE J1939 protocol and converts raw packets into readable information. The plug-in supports professional functions such as multi-packet parsing and address declaration, and comes with a two-year database update service.

Product Description
The SAE J1939 standard specifies how commercial vehicles communicate over a CAN bus. The standard uses Parameter Groups (PGs) and Suspect Parameters (SPs) to define the message and data structures required to transmit diagnostic and control information.
This plug-in fully supports the SAE J1939 standard and further extends the functionality of PCAN-Diag FD. The plug-in parses CAN data streams based on the built-in J1939 database and presents the information to the user in a readable format. It also supports advanced features such as multi-packet decoding, address declaration, and diagnostic information management.
Enabling the J1939 plug-in requires a license file bound to the device. This license can be purchased separately for PCAN-Diag FD diagnostic instruments. Two years of J1939 database updates are included with the option to purchase an additional two years of renewals.
