02. In-depth analysis of conversion principles

In simple terms, physical signals to telegrams can be established as transmission rules through the following three standardized steps:

  1. Quantization: Converts a continuous voltage change or switching state into a definite value.
  2. EncapsulationThe CAN/CAN FD data frame is a data frame that contains the values according to the predefined bit position (Start Bit), length and bit order (Big-endian / Little-endian).
  3. ID & Transmission: Assigns a unique CAN ID(determines bus priority and signal meaning) and follows the electrical and timing rules of the CAN/CAN FD bus for transmitting.
