The PLIN-LWL optocoupler replaces existing LIN bus network segments with fiber-optic lines for safe and reliable data transmission in explosion-proof areas or EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) measurement scenarios.

  • High security adapted: Designed for explosion-proof areas and EMC testing environments, it eliminates signal interference and the risk of deflagration through fiber-optic transmission.
  • Flexible network deployment: Supports replacement of existing lines at any node in the LIN network, compatible with master/slave node configurations (master node can switch terminal resistors).
  • Stabilizes transmission performance: Bit rates ranging from 2.4 kbit/s to 20 kbit/s with TJA1028 LIN transceiver ensure low data error transmission.
