IP67-Rated GMSL2 Global Shutter Stereo Camera
The ZED X series comprises three products—the ZED X, ZED X Mini, and ZED X One—designed specifically for robotic automation and digital twin applications. The entire series features an aluminum chassis and an IP67 protection rating, enabling reliable operation in demanding environments such as agriculture, manufacturing, and logistics. Key advantages include 120° wide-angle 3D AI perception, microsecond-level hardware synchronization across multiple cameras, and a built-in high-performance IMU, enabling precise obstacle detection, navigation, and motion tracking.
Specifically, the ZED X focuses on obstacle detection and navigation tasks at medium to long ranges, while the ZED X Mini is better suited for close-range operations (such as grasping and pick-and-place tasks). The entire series is equipped with global shutter sensors and secure, reliable GMSL2 connectivity, and supports Stereolabs Terra AI sensing technology, providing the robots with advanced environmental awareness capabilities.

Customer Needs
Hongke’s partner is developing industrial-grade embodied intelligent robots designed specifically for complex industrial environments such as the automotive, 3C electronics, and warehousing sectors, which place extremely high demands on the core sensing component—the depth camera. The robots must use stereo or 3D depth cameras to capture real-time 3D environmental data and accurately identify complex components and irregularly shaped objects to meet the demands of high-precision grasping, path planning, and palletizing tasks. Therefore, the depth cameras must have an industrial protection rating of IP67 or higher, to withstand dust, vibration, oil contamination, and wide temperature ranges, ensuring stable, high-frame-rate depth data output even within the robot’s complex electromagnetic environment. This provides reliable 3D environmental perception input for the robot’s embodied intelligence model, enabling autonomous operation and safe interaction. In addition, the camera must provide a comprehensive set of APIs and ROS-compatible sample programs to simplify integration into existing development environments for embodied intelligence robots, thereby facilitating rapid project implementation and robot deployment.
